Stacy R. Hastick
Hello, I'm Stacy, a multi-disciplinary professional determined to harmonise people, policy and purpose. I've worked along with employers, NGOs, business associations, and regional and international organisations to achieve notable gains.
As a consultant, I provide labour management and association development support, serving clients in the non-profit, retail, manufacturing and construction industries. During my tenure at a global distributed Unicorn HR startup, I provided support in various areas, including onboarding, employee relations, data management, payroll, and policy development. The role of Executive Director demanded that I provide succinct labour-management advice, represent employers at various levels, and lead engagement and advocacy initiatives.
I thoroughly enjoyed being a contributor to the "Doing Business Report" from 2016 to 2019, I've shared insights on labour legislation and policies, contributing to the World Bank's flagship report. Expanding my global perspective, I participated in the International Training Programme on Labour and Employment Relations in the Global Economy in India. This experience fueled my commitment to changing the narrative surrounding workplace environments for the greater good.
Academically, I hold a BSc. in Public Sector Management minor in Social Policy from the UWI, St. Augustine and a Certificate of Excellence in Labour Law from the UWI Open Campus Grenada. As well as, Master Training on Effective Business Member Organisation (Postgraduate Certificate) from the ITC-ILO.
